How To Take Down A Bathroom Mirror

Mirrors are a beautiful and functional addition to any bathroom. They can make a small space feel larger, and they can provide a place to check your appearance before you head out the door. Materials You Will Need

Screwdriver
Putty knife
Caulk gun
New caulk
Rags

Instructions

Turn off the power to the bathroom. This is important to do before you start working on the mirror, as you do not want to risk getting shocked.
Remove the screws that are holding the mirror to the wall. These screws are usually located around the edges of the mirror.
Carefully lift the mirror off the wall. Be sure to support the mirror with your other hand so that it does not fall and break.
If the mirror is attached to the wall with caulk, use a putty knife to carefully cut away the caulk. Be careful not to damage the wall or the mirror.
Clean the wall and the back of the mirror with a rag. This will remove any dirt or debris that may have accumulated.
Apply a new bead of caulk around the edges of the mirror. Be sure to apply the caulk evenly and smoothly.
Reattach the mirror to the wall. Be sure to align the mirror correctly and press it firmly into place. Replace the screws that you removed in step 2.
Turn on the power to the bathroom. Test the mirror to make sure that it is working properly.
