How To Install Ceramic Tile In Bathroom

Prepare the Surface

Lay Out the Tiles

Once the thinset mortar is dry, you can begin laying out the tiles. Start by measuring the area where you want to install the tile and then mark the center point. From the center point, you can begin laying out the tiles in a straight line. Use a level to ensure that the tiles are level as you lay them.

Apply Thinset Mortar

Once the tiles are laid out, you can begin applying thinset mortar to the back of each tile. Use a notched trowel to apply the thinset mortar evenly to the back of the tile. Be sure to spread the thinset mortar all the way to the edges of the tile.

Set the Tiles
