Painting bathroom walls can give the space a fresh, updated look. However, before applying a new coat of paint, it is crucial to thoroughly clean the walls. This ensures that the paint adheres properly and lasts longer. Dirty walls can contribute to uneven paint application and a less than desirable finish.

Cleaning bathroom walls involves removing dirt, grime, mildew, and any residue from previous paint or wallpaper. This process may require different cleaning methods and products depending on the extent of the dirt and the type of wall surface.

1. Prepare the Bathroom

Before starting the cleaning process, it is essential to prepare the bathroom to ensure a safe and efficient cleaning process. Begin by removing all items from the walls, including towel racks, mirrors, shelves, and artwork. Cover the floor with a drop cloth or plastic sheeting to protect it from cleaning solutions and spills.

2. Cleaning the Walls

3. Rinse and Dry
