Step-by-Step Instructions

Open the faucet to release any remaining water from the lines. 3. Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the packing nut. The packing nut is located where the faucet handle meets the base of the faucet. Turn the packing nut counterclockwise to loosen it. 4. Remove the handle. Once the packing nut is loose, you should be able to pull the handle straight up to remove it. 5. Inspect the cartridge.
